Naturopathy

The main aim of Naturopathy is to treat the whole person and not just the presenting symptom. Many of our bodily functions depend on each other to maintain optimal function. A Naturopath looks at all aspects of health in order to determining what areas of the body, which organ systems, or what aspects of lifestyle may be out of balance.

The Naturopath may use herbal medicine, nutritional supplements, dietary advice, and homoeopathy. Naturopaths may also use hair mineral analysis, saliva and urine to confirm their interpretation of your state of health. The principles of naturopathy are embedded in the theory that the body holds the potential to support its own healing processes for complete return to optimum wellbeing. The aim of naturopathic treatment is to make full use of people’s innate healing ability.
